Role Overview

Join Zoom's creative marketing team as a Motion Graphic Designer, where you'll craft compelling motion visuals to bring Zoom’s products and stories to life. You will work alongside creative collaborators to shape clear, engaging motion experiences that translate complex concepts into intuitive visuals that resonate with audiences.

Team Environment

Our brand creative marketing group produces animated content that connects people to Zoom’s story, working closely on design, video, and copy to humanize technology through accessible and relatable visuals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop complete motion design projects from initial concepts through storyboarding, design, animation, and final delivery stages.
Partner with designers, editors, and copywriters to visually communicate product features via clear and engaging stories.
Prioritize and manage several projects at once, ensuring consistent creative quality and timely completion.
Maintain and evolve Zoom’s motion and visual design systems across all outputs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote and enhance the Zoom brand through impactful motion design work.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Communications, or a related area, or equivalent professional experience.
Between 4 to 6 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or related creative roles.
Proficient in 2D and 3D motion design, product user interface animation, and dynamic typography, applying storytelling and design fundamentals to simplify complex ideas.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and various animation software tools to deliver high-quality motion graphics.
Capable of working effectively within multidisciplinary creative teams in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining detail and visual consistency.
A portfolio showcasing motion storytelling, especially in product marketing contexts, demonstrating curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for current motion design trends.

Compensation Details

The salary for this position ranges from $97,600 to $225,700 per year, influenced by factors including qualifications, experience, and location-based compensation structures. Zoom’s total direct compensation approach considers base salary, bonuses, and equity value.
