Role overview

The Monitoring & Automation Specialist will act as a technical lead within the Business Technology organization, shaping and improving monitoring and automation capabilities across Bunge’s global IT environment. The position focuses on building resilient, efficient, and secure operations through better observability, reduced manual effort, and stronger cross-team collaboration.

This role is based in Mohali and follows a hybrid work model. The selected professional will work independently on complex assignments, guide other team members, and help raise operational standards across the organization.

What you will do

• Design, build, and improve enterprise monitoring solutions for applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms so that performance drops and availability risks are identified early.
• Create and enhance automation frameworks and tools using scripting and orchestration so repetitive work is minimized and operational consistency improves.
• Own small to medium-sized monitoring and automation projects from planning through delivery and post-implementation review.
• Study logs, metrics, and performance data to identify root causes, predict future needs, and recommend architectural or operational changes.
• Drive process improvement efforts within Business Technology by introducing better monitoring and automation practices.
• Support and mentor less experienced colleagues and other IT professionals on monitoring tools, automation methods, and operational excellence.
• Work with Development, Operations, Security, and business stakeholders to embed monitoring and automation into SDLC and day-to-day workflows.
• Make sure monitoring and automation solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards and support audit readiness.

Technical focus

The role involves advanced use of enterprise monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch, along with automation technologies like Python, PowerShell, Go, JavaScript, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD. Strong familiarity with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as IT infrastructure and application architecture, is expected. Exposure to containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes is also relevant.

Compensation and work environment

The role offers a compensation range of INR 30,00,000 to INR 35,00,000 per year, along with benefits, paid time off, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for career progression. The workplace supports a balance between office and remote work through a hybrid setup.
