Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned MEP Coordinator to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and ELV coordination for a high-rise residential development located in Accra. This role serves as the primary liaison among architects, construction managers, consultants, and MEP subcontractors to ensure seamless design, installation, testing, and delivery of building services without costly conflicts or delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP designs collaboratively with architectural and structural teams to identify and resolve conflicts prior to site implementation.
- Manage the integrated MEP installation scheduling and supervise subcontractor activities effectively.
- Lead quality inspections, testing, and commissioning processes until project handover.
- Assist in procurement monitoring and review of technical submittals.
- Maintain accurate reporting including progress updates, trackers, and as-built documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of experience coordinating building services.
- Proven expertise in high-rise residential, hospitality, or mixed-use development projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, and ELV systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with BIM/Revit is advantageous.
