Mechanical Technician

Role Overview

As a Mechanical Technician, you will manage scheduled preventive and immediate corrective maintenance to ensure manufacturing equipment functions safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults, executing necessary repairs.
• Service components such as motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, palletizers, and packaging machines.
• Handle maintenance for critical technologies, including multivac machinery and supplementary systems.
• Track equipment performance and work to enhance operational productivity.
• Replace faulty parts and guarantee correct machine alignment and calibration.
• Assist the production team with machine setups and changeovers.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain daily logs.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintenance standards defined by the company.
• Collaborate with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service engineers when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar maintenance technician role.
• Proficient in English communication skills, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
