Job description
Position Overview
This role involves actively supporting the coordination and supervision of mechanical systems within major construction projects, particularly during phases from installation through commissioning and handover. The position offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates to gain hands-on experience by working closely with project teams to assure all mechanical aspects comply with contractual, quality, and safety standards.
Key Duties
- Work on the planning, scheduling, and supervision of mechanical system installations in manufacturing facilities and large-scale projects.
- Prepare comprehensive lists of mechanical materials as per contract requirements and perform rigorous quality checks.
- Support the management of Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, and document control protocols.
- Assist in the detailed coordination of mechanical system drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical plans to ensure integrated solutions.
- Participate in technical reviews and decisions for fixture selection, ensuring compatibility with project objectives.
- Help maintain effective communication and coordination among architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Contribute to construction management by facilitating resource allocation, budget adherence, and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Engage in procurement activities and support the preparation of technical packages for subcontracting and tendering processes.
- Monitor budget allocations and use project forecasts to ensure cost control for all mechanical works.
- Aid in risk identification, analysis, and the development of plans to address potential project challenges and contractual changes.
