Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Mechanical HVAC Engineer to be stationed onsite in Doha. The role involves designing, reviewing, and enhancing mechanical systems and components used in construction and industrial projects, ensuring adherence to safety, efficiency, and regulatory guidelines. Key daily duties include preparing and verifying technical drawings and specifications, liaising with project managers and onsite teams, and supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize mechanical systems including HVAC, ducting, plumbing, and drainage for commercial projects.
• Prepare, review, and update CAD drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project management and site personnel to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning phases ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues onsite, providing timely solutions.
• Support procurement activities through technical advice and vendor collaboration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain detailed project documentation.

Candidate Qualifications

• Solid mechanical engineering background with understanding of mechanical systems and materials relevant to construction and industrial projects.
• Proficient in HVAC, ducting, plumbing, and drainage work execution on commercial sites.
• Experienced in using CAD software for mechanical drawings and 3D modeling.
• Project management capabilities to plan and coordinate tasks, manage deadlines and resources effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with local and international mechanical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with ability to work onsite in Doha.
• Previous experience in construction or industrial projects within the Gulf region is advantageous.
