Mechanic - Rotary

About the role

The Mechanic - Rotary will carry out helicopter maintenance work under the direction of a Licensed Engineer - Rotary and the Senior Manager Maintenance - Rotary.

Key responsibilities

• Complete both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on helicopters.
• Work on identifying and resolving defects.
• Keep the Licensed Engineer and Senior Manager Maintenance - Rotary updated on issues, progress, and decisions needed.
• Follow company quality standards and maintenance procedures at all times.
• Observe all required safety measures and precautions during work.
• Maintain accurate and compliant maintenance records and documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Handle helicopter movements and related ground handling tasks.
• Contribute to special assignments and project work as required.
• Assist Licensed Engineers with their daily responsibilities.

Qualification and experience

• A Diploma, Associate Degree, or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Prior work experience as a mechanic in the aviation sector is expected.
• Strong understanding of aviation operations and maintenance practices is needed.
• Completion of technical aviation training is required.
• Non-technical aviation training is also required.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities are important.
• The role requires the ability to juggle several priorities and perform effectively in a high-pressure operational setting.
