Maternal Health Supervisor

About the Role

The Maternal Health Supervisor acts as a Family Case Manager leading a team of Home Visitors in the Maternal Health Home Based Services Program. This role involves organizing enrollment and overseeing services aimed at mothers and their infants within the first 18 months after birth. The position includes managing well-baby check-ups and screenings for both mother and child.

Key Functions

• Design and implement programs using evidence-based methodologies.
• Coordinate client enrollment and manage team hiring, training, and supervision.
• Assign and oversee caseloads while tracking progress with action plans.
• Connect families with essential community resources such as healthcare, mental health care, housing, financial aid, employment, transportation, and childcare.
• Conduct home visits to identify parenting support needs and promote family and child development.
• Encourage healthy, nurturing lifestyles and support educational and employment planning for families.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is required, paired with a minimum of two years experience in a human services role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possession of a current driver's license and availability to travel using a personal vehicle.
• Supervisory experience of at least one year is preferred.
