Job description
Role Overview
BOC Limited, part of Linde, invites applications for the position of Materials Operative based in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland. This role involves maintaining optimal inventory levels at customer sites to ensure continuous product availability and efficient materials management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain agreed minimum and maximum inventory levels on customer premises to support uninterrupted operations.
- Continuously monitor factory usage to guarantee seamless supply of products to customers.
- Report any variations in consumption to the TMM Shift Lead in alignment with customer feedback.
- Receive gases and chemicals from warehouses and facilitate their delivery to designated usage areas.
- Authenticate all incoming paperwork and conduct visual inspections of containers to meet expected quality standards.
- Perform daily site inspections, including customer's gas and chemical application points and receiving docks.
- Coordinate the collection and return of gas and chemical containers to appropriate warehouse locations.
- Engage proactively in team-based process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrate high personal integrity and strong customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Possess a positive and proactive approach with a 'can do, will do' attitude.
- Familiarity with quality systems, standards, and procedural compliance.
- Competent user of computers and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
