Role Overview

The Mason position is a full-time role based onsite in Sharjah Emirate, UAE. The role involves performing bricklaying, stonework, and cement-related tasks on various structural and finishing projects, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and materials for masonry work.
• Mix and apply cement and mortar accurately.
• Lay bricks and blocks to construct or repair walls and structures.
• Perform renovation tasks including repairs and modifications of existing structures.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades for timely task completion.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient practical skills in masonry including brickwork and stonework.
• Knowledge of cement and mortar preparation and usage for structural and finishing works.
• Experience in renovation and restoration involving repairs and modifications.
• Ability to interpret basic drawings, layouts, and measurements.
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices and compliance.
• Previous experience as a mason in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects, preferably in UAE or GCC.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and outdoor work.
• Reliable, detail-conscious, able to operate within a team under supervisors' instructions.
