Role Summary
As the Marketing & PR Manager for Canada, you will spearhead the development and implementation of integrated marketing and public relations campaigns. Reporting to senior leadership, your responsibilities include orchestrating marketing programs, managing brand events, supervising public relations efforts, and overseeing budgeting to enhance brand recognition, commercial success, and competitiveness in the Canadian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate annual marketing objectives, strategies, and comprehensive master plans that reflect both global directives and local business needs.
- Drive execution of marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely project completion through structured planning.
- Serve as the lead contact for public relations, coordinating media engagement, brand communications, and support for product launches and positioning.
- Manage all aspects of brand event planning and execution, collaborating with event agencies, creatives, and internal parties to deliver events aligning with brand guidelines.
- Develop, control, and report on the annual marketing budget, maintaining financial discipline and approving expenditures.
- Analyze marketing program results against sales and provide regular performance reports with recommendations for enhancement.
- Oversee point-of-sale materials, in-store visuals, and merchandising rollouts to support retailers and national accounts.
- Negotiate with and manage relationships with media vendors and agencies ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with headquarters teams in Switzerland to adapt global marketing strategies and events for the Canadian context.
- Lead and coordinate team members, manage project timelines and facilitate cross-functional communication.
Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based and requires strong communication, project management, and coordination skills. Occasional travel, approximately 25%, is expected to support events and client engagements. The role demands flexibility, particularly during peak periods and major campaigns, with potential extended hours.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience with SAP and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, campaigns, and collaborate across departments.
- Background in luxury goods or upscale retail sectors is advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for business purposes.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary ranges between $65,000 and $70,000 annually, complemented by a performance-based bonus. Additional benefits include health coverage encompassing dental and vision, RRSP contributions with company matching, company discounts, life insurance, paid vacation, and sick leave.

The job is based at 555 Richmond Street West, Suite 1105, Toronto, ON M5V 3B1, Canada. This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with flexibility during critical periods and events.
