Job Overview
This role is designed for a hands-on Marketing Manager accountable for crafting, implementing, and refining marketing initiatives that stimulate audience engagement and revenue growth across IBJ Media's diverse brands. Campaign management responsibilities span from initial concept through execution, including performance tracking and continuous improvement. The role requires close coordination with various teams to ensure campaigns meet clear objectives and uphold quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and evaluate marketing efforts for company events, subscriptions, and initiatives.
- Create and manage integrated marketing campaigns that foster growth in subscriptions, events, newsletters, podcasts, and products.
- Author detailed campaign briefs outlining goals, target audiences, messaging, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
- Act as the project lead for all campaigns, managing deadlines and ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate schedules, tasks, dependencies, and approvals using Asana.
- Produce compelling copy for various marketing materials including subscription ads, event promotion, emails, print, digital and broadcast advertisements, websites, landing pages, social media, and press releases.
- Edit and enhance existing campaign creative and written content to improve clarity and campaign effectiveness.
- Proofread all marketing content for consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Design and implement email and website marketing strategies utilizing audience segmentation, testing, and optimization to drive growth.
- Apply basic HTML and CSS skills to update promotional emails and web content as necessary.
- Regularly review website pages to ensure accuracy, user-friendliness, responsiveness, and optimal conversion.
- Define campaign goals, deadlines, and performance indicators prior to launch.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize marketing performance across multiple channels including email, web, paid media, social media, newsletters, print, and broadcast.
- Generate concise reports summarizing campaign results, insights, and improvement recommendations.
- Plan, execute, and refine paid and organic social media advertising campaigns, managing targeting, budgets, placements, and content variations.
- Develop and schedule social media communications for multiple channels and brand portfolios.

- Growth in subscription acquisitions and conversions
- Increase in event registrations, ticket sales, and generated revenue
- Expansion of newsletter and podcast audiences
- Improved email and landing-page conversion rates (including nominations and purchases)
- Optimized return on advertising spend through paid-media efficiency

Qualifications
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills tailored to marketing content.
- Proven track record crafting persuasive messages across email, print, digital, web, broadcast, and social platforms.
- Ability to prioritize projects based on business impact and deadlines.
- Experience leading campaigns with measurable audience and revenue goals on LinkedIn and other social media sites.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools; experience with Delivra is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS for email and website updates.
- Strong analytical skills for campaign testing, analysis, and optimization.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Self-driven with a collaborative mindset working alongside creative and technical teams.
- Proactive problem-solving aptitude to foresee and address campaign challenges.
- Experience using Asana, Buffer, Canva, and Adobe software is advantageous.
Educational and Professional Experience
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, journalism, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates should have at least four years of practical marketing experience demonstrating the ability to translate business goals into actionable campaigns with targeted audiences, value propositions, offers, calls to action, and media plans.
