Role Overview
We seek a proactive Market Manager focused on driving business development and managing accommodation partnerships across Oceania. This position involves managing a large portfolio of over 300 hotel accounts through frequent telephone calls and virtual meetings, emphasizing consistent outreach and performance enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a high volume of daily calls to promote and sell Trip.com products and services to hotels, targeting revenue growth and sales objectives.
- Grow the partner accommodation base by identifying, onboarding, and guiding new partners through the Trip.com onboarding procedures.
- Maintain active communication with more than 200 accounts through phone and online meetings, delivering insights and strategies to enhance partners’ market share and earnings.
- Analyze partner performance data to develop and execute improvement plans that maximize productivity and customer conversions.
- Resolve partner-related concerns swiftly, including issues with accounting, allotments, notifications, cancellations, or operations, working collaboratively with internal teams to streamline processes.
- Secure merchandising opportunities such as special offers and seasonal promotions aligned with company marketing strategies.
- Ensure partner hotel listings on Trip.com are current, accurate, and engaging to boost conversion rates.
- Represent Trip.com in the local market by fostering relationships with key stakeholders and sharing industry knowledge and trends.
- Perform additional assigned duties to support team and business goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum three years of experience in sales, account management, or revenue roles within hospitality or tourism, preferably with a focus on phone sales.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English to effectively build rapport and conduct persuasive communications both via telephone and online platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and maintain disciplined daily outreach schedules.
- Exceptional interpersonal talents for building trust and achieving mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Competency in data analysis to generate actionable insights and performance enhancement strategies.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.
