About the Role
Join Ipsen Ireland's cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility in Dublin as a Manufacturing Technologist focused on Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). This position operates under a one-year fixed-term contract with a 24/5 shift schedule, including a 25% shift allowance. Weekend work is excluded, with Friday night shifts concluding early on Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently implement the manufacturing plan and assist with detailed batch scheduling to meet production targets.
- Ensure timely and precise completion of all batch documentation.
- Conduct equipment calibrations according to the scheduled maintenance routine.
- Participate in cross-training across various manufacturing domains such as Synthesis, Purification, and Cleanroom operations.
- Adhere strictly to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, including Permit to Work systems and supporting incident or accident investigations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a diploma in a science-related field, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
- Approximately two years of industrial experience emphasizing meticulous attention to detail, strong report writing abilities, capacity to work independently, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Desirable experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)/Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) and solid phase peptide synthesis techniques, including purification and lyophilization.
