Role Summary
The Manager Talent Acquisition & Academy will help drive recruitment plans aligned to corporate hiring needs in aviation ground handling. The role centres on managing large-scale hiring through the Academy, with a strong focus on aviation operations recruitment, sourcing effectiveness, and a smooth candidate journey in a fast-moving, compliance-heavy environment. Experience in bulk hiring and corporate aviation recruitment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment delivery from start to finish for frontline and support positions, ensuring hiring is both prompt and high quality.
- Find candidates through job portals, aviation institutes, referrals and social media channels.
- Arrange interviews, assessments and selection stages.
- Follow aviation compliance requirements, including background verification and security clearance checks.
- Keep recruitment trackers current and maintain regular hiring-status updates.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with candidates across the recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role needs and provide hiring support.
- Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and vendors for sourcing and compliance activities.
- Assist the Head of Talent Acquisition with reports and stakeholder communication.
- Use ATS and related hiring tools to manage pipelines and post openings.
- Prepare basic recruitment reports and dashboards for internal use.
- Look for ways to improve recruitment workflows and tools.
- Ensure hiring practices comply with labour laws, aviation safety standards and internal policies.
- Encourage inclusive hiring and contribute to diversity initiatives.
- Provide candidates with accurate, ethical and detailed counselling.
- Manage inbound and outbound communication through walk-ins, calls and email.
- Follow up quickly to convert selected candidates into confirmed enrolments.
- Work toward individual enrolment targets.
- Handle escalated queries with professionalism, empathy and a solution-focused approach.
- Plan and execute outreach, marketing and promotional activities.
- Visit market locations to understand competition and identify effective practices.
- Support recruitment drives, seminars and promotional events.
- Coordinate with colleges, training institutes and education consultants to maximise participation in outreach programmes.
- Deliver presentations and seminars to large groups of prospective candidates.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline is required.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally in high-volume or operational hiring environments.
- Exposure to aviation, logistics or similar sectors will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance and security clearance processes is preferred.

Additional Information
This is a full-time onsite position based in Bengaluru. The role combines recruitment execution, counselling, outreach and academy enrolment responsibilities within a compliance-driven aviation environment.
