Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring seamless operation of our facilities and providing top-quality service to guests. This full-time role involves addressing a wide range of maintenance duties including drywall repair, equipment upkeep, and safety monitoring across multiple sites. Availability on weekends is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly and safely operate cleaning equipment and use related products and materials.
• Maintain courteous, helpful, and professional interactions with both guests and colleagues at all times.
• Manage follow-up tasks on specialized maintenance or cleaning assignments as directed by supervisory staff.
• Diagnose issues and coordinate with appropriate tradespersons for repairs.
• Maintain comprehensive annual schedules for equipment maintenance and inspections on property.
• Perform drywall patching and painting in suites and common areas as needed.
• Promptly report any maintenance defects, safety hazards, or operational problems to management.
• Assist with moving furniture, fulfilling special requests, carpet cleaning, and resolving technical issues.
• Maintain security awareness on guest floors, occupied suites, and service areas.
• Work closely with Guest Services to address any maintenance concerns.
• Travel between various properties to perform maintenance tasks using personal vehicle as necessary.
• Adhere to company vision, mission, and core values.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of high school education.
• Relevant trade or technical certification is considered an advantage.
• Previous maintenance experience within residential or hospitality settings.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with computers.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and adhere to company dress code (wearing Level’s polo shirt; jeans are not permitted).

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range between $60,000 and $65,000 CAD.
