Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with a solid background in trades such as plumbing, electrical work, general contracting, and HVAC certification. Candidates who possess diverse maintenance experience without formal certifications are also welcome to apply. This full-time role involves diverse facility upkeep tasks within a sizable single-building property.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues and replacing plumbing fixtures.
- Installing door lock mechanisms.
- Replacing electrical fixtures, including switches, receptacles, and light bulbs.
- Performing furnace and air conditioning filter swaps.
- Carrying out carpentry tasks such as drywall repairs and painting touch-ups.
- Maintaining exterior grounds using equipment supplied by the employer.
Work Schedule and Compensation
The regular work schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Specific shifts and wages will be finalized during hiring discussions. Part-time opportunities are also available. The starting hourly pay rate is $25.00. Benefits are offered to full-time employees.
