Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dammam for a Machine Operator responsible for preparing, running, and monitoring nonwoven production equipment to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted output. The role covers routine inspections, machine setting adjustments, raw material loading, and product checks against defined quality standards. It also includes cleaning tasks, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with maintenance teams when equipment support is needed. The operator is expected to follow all production, quality, and safety procedures, keep accurate records, and work closely with supervisors and coworkers to achieve production and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and supervise nonwoven production machines to maintain steady operation.
• Inspect equipment regularly and make minor adjustments as needed during the shift.
• Load raw materials and support continuous production flow.
• Carry out basic quality checks and compare output with the required standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping around the machine area.
• Identify minor equipment issues and assist maintenance staff in resolving them.
• Follow production schedules, operating instructions, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs and records related to production and machine performance.
• Coordinate with shift leaders, maintenance teams, and quality personnel to meet targets.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience running industrial or manufacturing machinery, ideally in nonwoven, textile, or similar continuous-production environments.
• Practical mechanical understanding to handle small adjustments, spot machine issues, and help with maintenance-related tasks.
• Working knowledge of machine safety practices and compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules.
• Ability to interpret instructions, production plans, and quality requirements accurately.
• Strong focus on detail for inspections, quality verification, and use of basic measuring instruments.
• Good communication and collaboration skills for working with supervisors and cross-functional teams.
• Readiness to work shifts, remain standing for long periods, and manage physical duties such as material handling and machine cleaning.
• Experience in hygiene, healthcare, or industrial materials manufacturing will be considered an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or machine operation is preferred.

Work Conditions

The position is based onsite at SGN’s Dammam facility and requires shift-based work. The job involves extended standing, hands-on machine handling, and physically active tasks such as loading materials and cleaning equipment.
