Logistics Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly efficient and forward-thinking Logistics Manager to oversee logistics and operational tasks for a prestigious football tournament scheduled in Saudi Arabia. This mid-management role involves comprehensive planning and implementation of logistics for equipment, materials, and infrastructure across multiple event venues between September 2026 and February 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute logistic strategies for receiving, storing, distributing, and retrieving event equipment and materials.
• Supervise inbound and outbound logistics involving sporting goods, furniture, fixtures, branding elements, temporary infrastructures, technology devices, and supplies.
• Manage warehouse activities including inventory oversight, stock control, and material handling.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries to competition and auxiliary sites consistent with venue preparation timelines.
• Maintain asset tracking throughout the event phases to ensure visibility and responsibility from receipt until recovery.
• Liaise with procurement teams, venue operators, functional departments, suppliers, and contractors to guarantee the prompt availability of necessary items.
• Develop efficient delivery schedules, loading plans, storage methods, and route assignments to minimize disturbances to operations.
• Continuously monitor inventory status and uphold accurate documentation, stock reconciliation, and reporting procedures.
• Oversee relationships with logistics service providers including warehouse operators, freight companies, and handlers.
• Perform additional duties related to logistics management as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of five years in logistics management.
• Proven experience handling warehouse operations, inventory systems, and asset tracking.
• Solid knowledge of event logistics and delivery processes at venues.
• Strong competency in managing multiple suppliers and logistic service partners.
• Availability to work onsite in Riyadh or Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Background

• Previous involvement in major sports tournaments and international sporting events.
• Experience with stadium or venue logistical support.
• Work on large-scale event infrastructure projects.
• Handling multi-site event logistics coordination.
