Logistics Executive

Position Overview

Goodwill Trans & Logistics Co. seeks a motivated and detail-focused Operations Executive to oversee daily transport operations. The role involves planning vehicle movements, coordinating among various stakeholders, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily vehicle deployment and trip activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, transporters, and loading/unloading personnel.
• Guarantee on-schedule vehicle availability and delivery completion.
• Monitor vehicle locations using GPS and regularly update operational status.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, detention, and route changes.
• Compile daily MIS reports and maintain detailed trip records.
• Validate diesel usage, toll charges, and trip-related paperwork.
• Liaise with billing and accounts teams to manage proof of delivery (POD), invoicing, and trip closures.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and clear communication.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable transport regulations.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Have 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Exhibit strong communication and coordination capabilities.
• Possess proficiency in MS Excel and fundamental computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and transport documentation is an advantage.

Additional Information

Salary: INR 15,000 to 20,000 per month.
