Leasing Executive (Retail)

Role Overview

As a Leasing Executive specializing in retail properties, you will actively seek and secure tenants by leveraging market research, networking, and outreach efforts. Your responsibilities include negotiating lease agreements, managing renewals, and finalizing all leasing documentation. The role demands staying updated on market trends through competitive analysis and maintaining strong communication with tenants and occupants regarding leasing matters.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential tenants by conducting market research and expanding professional networks.
• Negotiate terms for both new leases and lease renewals effectively.
• Prepare and finalize lease agreements along with other necessary leasing documents.
• Perform competitive market analyses to stay informed about industry trends and dynamics.
• Serve as a liaison between tenants and property occupants, addressing leasing and tenancy issues promptly.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Real Estate, Business, or related fields; candidates holding a Real Estate Salesperson (RES) License are preferred.
• Preferably have a minimum of three years’ experience in retail or commercial leasing roles.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation capabilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to establish rapport with a variety of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Entry-level candidates, including recent graduates, are encouraged to apply for junior positions.
