Learning Specialist - 2 Hour Learning Model (Remote)

About the Role

This position supports the revolutionary 2-Hour Learning model where students complete a full academic day in just two focused hours. From any location with stable internet, you will analyze comprehensive AI-generated student performance data, deliver precise interventions, and offer live coaching to help learners exceed 90% mastery. Your work includes identifying hidden patterns in the data to build advanced AI solutions that significantly double students' learning speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate Academic Data Reports analyzing student performance to detect issues and anomalies, addressing them within 48 hours.
• Lead prompt intervention calls and post-assessment coaching to resolve obstacles and maintain learner motivation.
• Evaluate and implement new educational technologies and content, developing AI/LLM prototypes to enhance learning approaches.
• Work collaboratively with leadership to refine tools, dashboards, and mastery standards as AI tutoring evolves.

What This Role Does Not Involve

• Attending excessive meetings or generic presentations lacking direct impact measurement.
• Grading assignments, lesson planning, or running traditional academic programs, as AI drives the method.
• High-level strategy roles without execution or monotonous repetitive tasks; this position is hands-on and dynamic.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles combining analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Google Sheets features such as lookups, pivot tables, and filtering for data analysis.
• High emotional intelligence, effective communication, and a coaching approach suitable for children.
• Experience creating AI-driven workflows and automation.
• At least one year of direct work experience with K-8 students.
• Ability to work core hours: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday to Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in learning science or demonstrated success improving educational outcomes through data-focused strategies.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript) for querying AI APIs.

Employment Details

This is a full-time, long-term role (40 hours/week), available immediately. Engagement is as an independent contractor with Crossover acting as Contractor of Record. Compensation is $30/hour, totaling approximately $60,000 annually based on 40 hours weekly over 50 weeks. Payments are disbursed weekly.
