About the Role

ACCPRO is seeking a Learning and Development Consultant for a prominent client located in Galway. This position involves leading the design and rollout of a comprehensive Learning and Development Framework aimed at enhancing organisational capabilities, supporting employee growth, and aligning with long-term business goals. The role is initially offered on a six-month contract basis with potential for extension, based onsite in Galway with an annual salary of €75,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the strategic Learning and Development Framework and related policies.
  • Engage with senior leadership, management, and staff to identify learning needs across the organisation.
  • Assess existing L&D procedures, organisational priorities, and best practices to inform framework development.
  • Develop and manage implementation plans, governance structures, and performance reporting to ensure effective program delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Create necessary documentation including policies, procedures, guidance materials, templates, and tools to support the framework.
  • Guarantee that the framework supports organisational values, workforce needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of learning initiatives and identify enhancements.
  • Promote engagement among stakeholders to ensure successful integration and acceptance of the framework.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive senior-level experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or HR strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering strategic L&D or capability development initiatives.
  • Experience in policy creation, framework development, and organisational development programs.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, and influence.
  • Project and change management expertise within complex organisational settings.
  • Holds a relevant bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent) in HR, Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Business, Psychology, or similar fields.
  • Additional qualifications such as a postgraduate degree, coaching certification, or professional accreditation are beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
