Role Summary

This on-site full-time Lead Barista position is based in Hauz Khas Market. Responsibilities include product training, delivering prompt and excellent customer service, developing and enforcing standard operating procedures for beverage preparation, managing in-house coffee roasting, overseeing inventory, vendor coordination, and cost control. The role aims to maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere for patrons. Daily duties involve processing and preparing beverage orders, conducting cost reviews, research and development initiatives, and collaborating with team members to enrich the guest experience. The Lead Barista also engages customers by answering inquiries and making recommendations to enhance their visits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in barista skills with a focus on coffee and specialty drinks preparation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and staff
• Proficient customer service capabilities to achieve high guest satisfaction
• Basic practical knowledge of food preparation
• Ability to be punctual, detail-oriented, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food hygiene and safety standards
• Previous experience in food and beverage is beneficial
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Possession of certifications such as BTA, BH, CQI, or SCA will be viewed favorably

Compensation and Location

• Monthly compensation: INR 35,000 CTC
