Qualifications

  • Friendly and cooperative attitude towards team and guests.
  • Experience in operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Completion of some high school education.
  • Food Handler certification may be required depending on local regulations and is to be obtained at the candidate’s expense.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Work involves standing for prolonged periods, exposure to hot steam and food vapors, and a fast-paced environment requiring efficient multitasking and use of kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, reach across counters approximately 36 inches high, and communicate effectively in a dynamic setting is necessary. Noise levels are typically high, and storage areas are limited. Adapting to shifting priorities and managing difficult situations professionally is important.
