Role Overview

As a Kitchen and Laundry Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all hot and cold kitchen apparatus as well as laundry machines through diligent maintenance and repair. Your work will be crucial in preventing equipment failures and sustaining uninterrupted service.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of all kitchen equipment, both hot and cold, to prevent operational disruptions.
• Maintain and service laundry machinery regularly to avoid breakdowns and ensure consistent performance.
• Execute preventive upkeep measures swiftly to meet guest expectations and satisfaction standards.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to any equipment malfunctions, strictly following hotel protocol and standards.
• Operate safely and eco-consciously to uphold staff and guest health while conserving natural resources.
• Adhere continuously to the hotel’s environmental, health, and safety guidelines and policies.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Demonstrated experience in the role of a Kitchen and Laundry Technician or in a related maintenance position.
• Comprehensive understanding of maintenance and repair procedures for kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Skillful in diagnosing and rectifying equipment faults effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills facilitating teamwork and supplier interactions.
• Strict compliance with safety instructions and environmental standards.
