Job description

Position Summary

The Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for contributing hands-on to the youth program team's objective of delivering enjoyable, educational, and nurturing services to the children of members and guests within a warm and inviting atmosphere. This role involves building meaningful connections with children and parents accessing the club’s child activity offerings, supervising on-floor operations and staff during shifts, and serving as a roving attendant across various kid activity stations when required.

Key Duties

  • Provide a diverse, innovative, and targeted calendar of activities and events for visiting boys and girls.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for facilities, equipment, and supplies in accordance with company requirements.
  • Support the Manager with special projects, events, specialty classes, and party planning related to the youth program.
  • Engage children in everyday activities such as arts and crafts, games, storytelling, and singing.
  • Promote the club’s youth programs and activities actively.
  • Assist parents with program registration and address behavioral concerns as necessary.
  • Ensure routine upkeep and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
  • Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly to management and complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional personal appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and safeguard company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and effectively respond to their service needs, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.
  • Use clear, professional communication, including telephone etiquette.
  • Develop and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Process customer orders and payments where applicable.
  • Comply with quality assurance standards.
  • Perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking for long durations, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Adhere to any additional certification or licensing required by local or state agencies.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
  • Minimum one year of relevant work experience preferred.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications mandatory.
  • Knowledge of recreation equipment and any certifications required by local/state regulations.
