Role Overview

This role involves joining a systematic trading team engaged in trading diversified financial instruments globally, leveraging proprietary algorithms and in-house technology. The position blends trading assistance, market data analysis, and technical troubleshooting, focusing on monitoring and enhancing trading strategies, resolving operational issues, and developing automation tools. No prior trading experience is required, but the role suits inquisitive problem-solvers eager to gain hands-on industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily functioning of systematic and algorithm-based trading strategies across different exchanges and asset classes.
• Track live trading operations, holdings, and system status to promptly detect and address anomalies or problems.
• Contribute to the design, trial, and optimization of algorithmic trading methods and execution processes.
• Analyze data and debug to resolve trading and system-related issues.
• Create and refine automation scripts and workflow tools to boost team efficiency and dependability.
• Collaborate closely with traders and software engineers to improve trading models, tools, and internal workflows.
• Assist in real-time monitoring of risk, positions, and trade activities.
• Carry out operational duties and support tasks with precision and responsibility.

Candidate Requirements

• 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of a bachelor's degree in quantitative or analytical fields such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, or finance.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong enthusiasm about financial markets and algorithmic trading.
• Proficiency in Python is highly preferred; familiarity with any programming language is advantageous.
• Highly detail-oriented, accountable, and diligent work style.
• Self-driven, quick to learn, and proactive approach.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic setting.
• Effective written and spoken communication skills in English.
