Role Summary

We seek a proactive and meticulous Junior Talent Sourcer to join our expanding recruitment team. This position involves discovering and engaging highly qualified candidates across various technical and professional fields, supporting our federal contracting and construction divisions. Collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers is key to building robust candidate pipelines and ensuring the continuous influx of skilled applicants.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and implement sourcing strategies for open roles in disciplines such as engineering, construction, project management, and IT.
Employ platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, clearance-oriented job boards, resume databases, and Boolean search methods to locate suitable candidates.
Initiate contact with both passive and active candidates to pique interest and collect information on availability and salary expectations.
Pre-qualify candidates effectively before transferring promising leads to recruiters for comprehensive evaluation.
Keep candidate information current and accurate within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Collaborate with recruiters to grasp job specifications, ideal candidate attributes, and hiring timelines.
Conduct research on talent pools, compensation trends, and market conditions to address challenging hiring requirements.
Assist in building pipelines for forecasted and recurring recruitment demands.

Required Qualifications

Between one and three years of experience in sourcing or recruiting, ideally within staffing or federal contracting sectors.
Proficient use of LinkedIn Recruiter and major job boards such as Indeed, ClearanceJobs, and ZipRecruiter.
Strong command of Boolean search techniques with the capability to identify passive candidates.
Excellent written communication abilities essential for effective outreach messaging.
Highly organized with capacity to handle numerous requisitions simultaneously.
Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Workable or Paylocity.
Prior exposure to sourcing candidates with security clearances or experience in government contracting is advantageous.
