Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join us full-time on a remote basis, supporting a major infrastructure consultancy in Manchester by coordinating internal tool development projects. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring smooth project organization and effective communication between our developers and the client. You will monitor progress on database migrations, prepare for weekly demos, and manage detailed task tracking to prevent any missed items. This role emphasizes managing work details rather than people.

Daily Responsibilities

• Update and maintain project boards to reflect current progress.
• Document requirements for new internal dashboards clearly.
• Create brief videos demonstrating new features for client understanding.
• Assist with basic testing to verify tool functionality meets specified needs.
• Communicate project status transparently with both team and client.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone inherently organized who enjoys bringing clarity and order to complex tasks. Strong written communication skills are essential due to the remote nature of the role, enabling you to explain technical developments in straightforward language. Coding skills are not required, but comfort with modern digital platforms and curiosity about software architecture and integration will help you thrive. This is an entry-level position prioritizing attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to completing work over extensive experience or trend-chasing.
