Junior Key Account Manager (m/w/d)

Role Overview

At Skaylink, you will take ownership of expanding your client portfolio and designing robust, future-proof IT infrastructures tailored for medium-sized and large enterprises. As a top provider of Data Center and Managed Services solutions, you will collaborate within a strong team equipped with modern tools, enjoy flexible work hours, remote work options, and a performance-based compensation model.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic key clients from the mid-market and enterprise sectors while establishing durable and trustful customer relationships.
• Conduct periodic strategic reviews at the executive (C-Level) level, positioning yourself as a reliable contact person.
• Analyze customer needs and craft customized solutions in the domains of Data Center, Cloud, and Managed Services.
• Identify and leverage cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across the full service portfolio, including Colocation, Housing, Managed Network, Security, Backup/DRaaS, and Private and Hybrid Cloud.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from proposal generation through contract negotiation to successful closure.
• Collaborate closely with technical experts, product management, and operations teams to ensure successful service implementation.
• Continuously monitor market trends and competitors, uncovering new business prospects.
• Conduct forecasting and reporting activities, maintaining regular communication with senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial or technical training or studies in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent disciplines.
• Initial hands-on experience or a strong interest in IT solutions, Cloud, or Managed Services, seeking professional growth.
• Basic understanding of topics such as Cloud, networks, cybersecurity, IT operations, or Data Center, combined with enthusiasm to deepen your expertise.
• Enjoy engaging with clients, presenting professionally, and actively developing your negotiation and presentation skills.
• Customer-oriented, organized, motivated, and prepared for occasional travel to client meetings.
