Junior Interior Designer (2D AutoCAD Specialist)

Role Overview

Collins India seeks a creative Junior Interior Designer specialized in 2D AutoCAD to join their team in Worli, Mumbai. This full-time position involves supporting interior design projects through detailed drawing creation, collaboration with various stakeholders, and ensuring design accuracy aligned with project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise 2D AutoCAD drawings for different interior design assignments.
• Develop comprehensive layout plans including furniture arrangements and working drawings.
• Update designs in response to client feedback and project adjustments.
• Liaise effectively with senior designers, architects, and onsite teams.
• Keep thorough records of all drawings and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with project directives and deadlines.
• Support preparation of presentations and essential design documentation as needed.

Candidate Qualifications

• Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD 2D software.
• Fundamental grasp of interior design concepts and efficient space planning.
• Strong command of English communication, both verbal and written.
• Keen eye for detail complemented by excellent organizational capabilities.
• Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite is beneficial but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in junior interior designing or 2D AutoCAD drafting roles, preferably with a history of creating detailed interior layouts and working drawings.

• Salary: Up to 40000 INR per month
