Role Overview

The Process Quality Engineer (PQE) ensures consistent manufacturing quality of speaker assemblies by implementing stringent process controls such as First Article Inspections, root cause analysis, and ongoing improvements. This role collaborates cross-functionally with production, design, and supplier quality teams, maintaining product excellence and customer satisfaction while managing QMS documentation and customer audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and apply process control plans and PFMEAs for speaker assembly and testing.
• Monitor critical process parameters and quality standards to meet internal and customer criteria.
• Lead root cause investigation and deploy corrective/preventive actions for quality concerns.
• Execute product, layout, and dock audits as scheduled.
• Perform process and layered process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Work closely with design and production teams to improve acoustic quality, appearance, and durability.
• Coordinate with international teams to enforce robust process controls.
• Engage with suppliers and clients on quality matters as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation meeting IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific protocols.

• Superior expertise in in-process quality, particularly in speaker manufacturing advantages.

• Keen attention to detail coupled with creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Strategic thinking and analytical mindset.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or related speaker manufacturing fields.
• Minimum three years of experience in process or manufacturing quality, favoring audio electronics or speaker processes.
• Proficient with quality improvement tools including 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Hands-on experience in speaker assembly operations like diaphragm bonding and acoustic testing is highly desirable.
• Knowledgeable in measurement tools such as sound analyzers, impedance testers, and visual inspection devices.
• Skilled in MS Office, profile projectors, and universal testing machine operations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-resolution skills.
