About the Role
Located in Dublin City Centre, this full-time, permanent Junior Accounts Assistant position is with a prominent property management firm. The role offers a basic annual salary between c30,000 and c35,000 along with additional benefits. After an initial probation period, employees can work remotely in a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and process daily financial transactions, ensuring precise allocation of all income and payments.
- Conduct bank statement reviews and reconcile various financial transactions.
- Organize and maintain electronic records of invoices and associated financial documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Review and validate supplier invoices for accuracy.
- Process purchase invoices and accurately update the companys accounting systems.
- Manage invoice uploads for approval workflows.
- Support payment procedures, including cheque lodgements, while preserving all supporting financial records.
- Prepare financial reports regularly and assist in reconciliations and account evaluations.
- Generate invoices for fees and services, ensuring comprehensive cost capture.
- Maintain precise records across accounting and internal management systems.
- Verify supplier details and assist with new supplier account setup.
- Provide timely financial information and reports to internal stakeholders as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate with a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
- No prior work experience needed; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in IT with the capability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and contribute positively.
