Job Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and upkeep of floor surfaces using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming methods.
• Adhere to safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and property.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas to high standards.
• Dispose of trash appropriately, including using compactors where applicable.
• Clean glass surfaces such as windows, partitions, and mirrors with suitable cleaning agents.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks.
• Restock paper goods and sanitary supplies regularly.
• Follow established housekeeping schedules and complete assigned duties as needed.
• Operate heavy cleaning machinery like floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers occasionally.
• Perform additional tasks as required based on customer needs and scope of work.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; alternatively, a minimum of six months’ experience in a janitorial role is required.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Familiarity with floor care methods such as buffing and waxing.
• Experience working in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance environments.

Additional Information

• Position includes opportunities for full-time and part-time employment with evening shifts.
• Hourly wage of $15, paid weekly.
