Janitor - $18 per Hour - No Prior Experience Needed

Role Overview

This position requires an on-site janitor to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of commercial facilities located in Wailea, HI. The role offers a fixed hourly wage of $18 and operates under a full-time contract basis.

Work Schedule

The janitorial shifts run Monday through Friday with two possible working hours: either from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Key Duties

• Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floor surfaces.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, vents, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replacing liners as necessary.
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and entrance areas.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supply stock.
• Follow scheduled cleaning routines and adhere to company standards.
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and handle cleaning chemicals following safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues, broken equipment, or safety risks promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive demeanor when interacting with both customers and colleagues.

Candidate Requirements

• Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong focus on detail and dependability.
• Good communication abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.

Additional Information

This is not a remote position; applicants must be punctual and able to attend work at the designated location on site. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
