Role Summary

ATTC Manufacturing is hiring an IT Support Specialist to join the Information Technology department. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth performance of company-wide technological infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Manager, the specialist will provide technical assistance to employees, maintain hardware and software systems, manage network connectivity, and support other IT equipment. This position offers practical experience with enterprise technology in a manufacturing setting while enhancing operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; relevant work experience will be considered.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for supporting end-users.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality support.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server, networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi), printer and peripheral device support, antivirus and endpoint protection, and mobile device management.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, software, and peripherals like printers and scanners.
• Set up and secure workstations ensuring operational readiness.
• Provide in-person, phone, and remote technical support to resolve issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, email, and network problems to minimize downtime.
• Assist employees with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions adhering to security policies.
• Maintain antivirus and endpoint protection software, and apply regular updates.
• Connect users to network resources and deliver basic training on company systems.
• Document support cases and solutions to improve knowledge sharing.
• Work with IT Manager and vendors on technology projects and procurement.
• Support IT initiatives across multiple company sites ensuring consistency.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or external support as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support IT and organizational goals.
