Our mission is to revolutionize procurement and supply chain services with a reliable end-to-end solution targeting the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Initially serving Saudi Aramco and its affiliates, ASMO plans to expand its reach throughout the MENA region’s industrial sectors by 2025.
Role Objective
The Operational Excellence Analyst supports the Support Functions Manager by bridging business needs with IT solutions within the Operational Excellence Department. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure technological tools effectively meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess solid understanding of IT Solutions discipline principles relevant to Operational Excellence, tasked with gathering, validating, and compiling reliable data.
- Identify operational requirements tied to IT solutions in Operational Excellence, Finance, and HR; assist management in designing and executing strategies to meet these needs.
- Analyze existing processes to detect inefficiencies or bottlenecks and propose enhancements using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
- Evaluate system requirements, assess software options, manage vendor relations, and ensure alignment of solutions with department goals and ASMO’s business objectives.
- Participate in Support Functions projects in coordination with the IT Business Relationship Manager, performing risk assessments, monitoring progress, and recommending process improvements.
- Review technical and functional design documents concerning Finance and HR software applications.
- Manage requirement changes following formal change request procedures.
- Configure applications according to functional specifications and ensure solutions are properly documented.
- Recommend relevant training to enhance team capabilities.
- Identify and suggest continuous improvements for systems and processes to boost productivity and efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to IT Solutions policies and procedures, maintaining controlled and consistent work execution.
- Prepare accurate, timely reports in compliance with departmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, information technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Master’s degree in operations management, information technology, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications related to operations software or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma) are advantageous.
- Fluent verbal and written communication abilities in English.
- Minimum of five years’ professional experience in a similar role.
