Overview

Join a prominent organization spearheading one of the most ambitious industrial development initiatives in the region as an IT Manager. This position requires leading the deployment, integration, and commissioning of essential IT, telecommunications, smart building, and infrastructure systems within a major industrial complex. Acting as the vital link among engineering, utilities, construction, and digital technology teams, you will ensure a fully interconnected, operationally robust, and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct implementation of ICT infrastructure, telecom networks, structured cabling, data centers, server rooms, security systems, building management systems (BMS), SCADA, and smart building technologies.
  • Ensure digital frameworks meet operational demands while allowing scalability and future growth.
  • Facilitate integration between building systems, various utilities, and enterprise technology platforms.
  • Supervise the delivery and coordination of power, water, telecom, sewer, stormwater, gas, and fire water infrastructures.
  • Liaise with authorities, service providers, and stakeholders to secure utility connections.
  • Guarantee infrastructure readiness for commissioning and operational transfer.
  • Manage the synchronization of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialized systems.
  • Address multidisciplinary engineering and construction interface challenges.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration among MEP, IT, utilities, and operational teams.
  • Oversee contractor and consultant adherence to design and quality benchmarks.
  • Lead testing, commissioning, integrated systems validation, and preparation for operational launch.
  • Validate technical documentation, as-built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, and handover packages.
  • Provide technical guidance throughout project stages, handling risks, change management, quality assurance, and compliance.
  • Represent the company in technical discussions with consultants, contractors, utilities, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, telecommunications, smart buildings, or digital technologies.
  • At least 10 years spent on complex industrial, manufacturing, data centers, infrastructure, or advanced technology facilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder and contractor management.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • MBA degree.
  • PMP accreditation.
  • Registration with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
  • Familiarity with NFPA standards.
  • Experience with BMS, SCADA, data center operations, industrial automation, and smart factory environments.
