Overview

Join Gulf Payments Company in Riyadh as an IT Governance Specialist responsible for overseeing and supporting the development and implementation of IT governance strategies, policies, and compliance processes. This role acts as a critical connection between business operations and IT, ensuring clear and prioritized data requirements while promoting adherence to established frameworks and standards.

Primary Duties

  • Assist in formulating, executing, and updating the company's IT strategy and governance frameworks, including policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce IT governance compliance within the organization, ensuring alignment with frameworks like ISO 20000, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL.
  • Serve as an intermediary between IT and business units to clarify, prioritize, and address data-driven needs.
  • Contribute to IT risk management and audit processes by identifying and mitigating IT-related risks and resolving audit observations.
  • Compile and deliver reports detailing IT governance metrics and compliance statuses to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for process refinement and contribute to enhancing IT governance practices across the company.
  • Ensure conformity with internal controls, regulatory demands, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee IT Service Management (ITSM) governance, covering processes such as CMDB, service catalog management, Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in IT governance, administration, compliance, risk management, or related fields.
  • Educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Preferred certifications include CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, or COBIT.

Required Competencies

  • Expertise in IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 20000.
  • Proven skills in risk assessment, management, compliance, IT planning, and change management.
  • Familiarity with vendor and relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional communication (oral and written), organizational, and time management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT processes, policies, procedures, and auditing.
