Investment Analyst

About the Role

We are collaborating with a prominent international infrastructure investment platform in search of a motivated Investment Analyst to strengthen its investment team based in Singapore. This full-time role offers the chance to immerse yourself in complex infrastructure deals throughout emerging markets, supporting all phases from identification and evaluation to execution and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and assessing new infrastructure investment prospects and help prepare detailed investment proposals and supporting business case materials.
• Perform thorough commercial, financial, legal, and credit due diligence by coordinating efforts with internal teams and external consultants during transactions.
• Develop and validate financial models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, evaluate credit risk, and contribute to transaction structuring activities.
• Provide support throughout transaction execution from origination to financial closure, including preparation of investment committee presentations and financing documentation.
• Oversee ongoing portfolio investments by monitoring performance metrics, identifying potential risks, and preparing comprehensive reports for internal committees.
• Maintain strong communication and collaborative relationships with borrowers, sponsors, financial institutions, advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and management of investments.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field is required.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in domains such as investment banking, project or structured finance, infrastructure investing, private credit, or similar investment environments.
• Demonstrable experience in investment origination, deal execution, and portfolio oversight.
• Proficient financial modeling, valuation techniques, financial statement analysis, and credit evaluation skills.
• Familiarity with project finance, structured finance, or infrastructure financing is highly desirable.
• Experience with emerging markets or infrastructure investments adds value.
• Additional language skills in Asian languages, specifically Vietnamese, are advantageous.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills able to perform effectively in a demanding investment setting.
