Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Coordinator to join our warehouse operations team in Auckland, New Zealand. This role is critical to preserving inventory accuracy, ensuring the integrity of warehouse management systems, and supporting smooth daily operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will partner with operations teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to deliver excellent service and proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory audits regularly.
  • Keeping inventory records updated and accurate within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies, damages, and inventory variances.
  • Monitoring the accuracy of activities including inbound shipments, put-away processes, and order picking.
  • Analyzing inventory data to provide actionable insights to enhance performance.
  • Assisting with daily reporting, inventory reconciliations, and workflow oversight.
  • Developing strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to foster collaboration.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience managing inventory control in warehouse or third-party logistics (3PL) environments.
  • Proficient with warehouse management systems and committed to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities for addressing inventory-related challenges.
  • Keen attention to detail with a strong focus on the quality and accuracy of data.
  • Highly organized with skills in task prioritization, workload management, and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Possession of a current LF/LO forklift license is mandatory.
