Job Summary

The Installer role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction by safely delivering, assembling, and correctly installing diverse products—including home appliances, furniture, and complex electronics—at customer premises. This position demands technical proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate smooth product setup and customer education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and safely transport products to residences or business locations.
• Unpack, assemble, and install a wide array of products as per manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
• Perform pre-installation inspections and post-installation testing to confirm proper operation.
• Guide customers on product usage, basic upkeep, and troubleshooting tips.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns effectively.
• Complete all required documentation such as installation reports and delivery confirmations.
• Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Strictly follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customer service for timely installations.
• Identify and report any defects or damages found during installation.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualifications in related areas like appliance or electronics installation are advantageous.
• Proven practical experience in installation, assembly, or related trades.
• Good mechanical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Capability to handle physically demanding tasks and lift heavy items routinely.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools competently.
• Self-motivated with effective time management.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when needed.
