Job Overview
We seek an Insights Analyst to deliver valuable insights to retail partners, primarily collaborating with a major UK grocery retailer. The role involves leveraging top-tier data, FMCG knowledge, and persuasive data storytelling to generate actionable insights that aid both strategic and tactical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams, addressing day-to-day client inquiries with accurate and timely analyses.
- Collaborate effectively within the team to meet account goals and foster a positive client partnership.
- Convert client questions into clear analytical briefs, applying EPOS and relevant datasets to perform rigorous analysis.
- Create clear and concise deliverables with actionable recommendations, ensuring meticulous accuracy in all outputs.
- Gain extensive knowledge of the client's business, categories, UK FMCG market dynamics, retail trends, and shopper behaviors.
- Identify opportunities to add value through insights, supporting client objectives with data-driven guidance.
- Engage collaboratively with the wider team, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Take personal responsibility for ongoing development of analytical skills and industry expertise.
Required Experience and Skills
- Prior experience in an analytical or insight-focused role with strong numerical aptitude and confidence managing datasets.
- Ability to transform complex data into structured and clear insights.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities, effective at presenting and building relationships internally and with clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail ensuring accuracy.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations.

Compensation and Commitment
The annual gross salary ranges from A32000 to A339000, determined objectively based on experience, skills, and internal equity, with gender-neutral principles ensuring pay transparency. This full-time position is office-based in London or Oxford with hybrid work options.
