Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Administrator will oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure agents across Linux and Windows systems, ensuring uniformity and compliance with security protocols. Key duties include OS-level system administration tasks such as configuration, patch management, hardening, and managing agent lifecycles. The role involves deploying and administering enterprise-level monitoring tools, endpoint management solutions, backup agents, and security utilities including SIEM and EDR.

The incumbent will be responsible for adhering to cybersecurity and data protection standards mandated by SAMA, NCA, PDPL, and NDMO during system installation and configuration. This position requires executing IT operations aligned with ITIL best practices, managing Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes with proper documentation and approvals.

Continuous system monitoring to maintain health, performance, and availability through enterprise monitoring tools is critical, along with proactive incident remediation. Support will be provided for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning activities, encompassing testing, failover validations, and executing recovery plans.

Collaboration with vendors and internal teams is essential for troubleshooting, system upgrades, and infrastructure component deployments. Maintaining precise operational documentation such as configuration baselines, deployment protocols, and knowledge resources is expected. Root cause analysis investigations for infrastructure incidents must be performed, followed by the implementation of preventative actions.

The role will also contribute to automation initiatives using scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash to improve operational efficiency and minimize manual tasks. Ensuring secure configurations according to baseline standards, including patching, vulnerability remediation, and enforcing access controls, is a critical responsibility.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Have between 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure or system administration within enterprise environments, preferably in the banking sector.
• Demonstrated expertise with Linux and Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in deploying and managing infrastructure agents such as monitoring, backup, patching, and endpoint security tools.
• Familiar with regulatory frameworks like SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO requirements.
• Experienced with the ITIL framework and its operational processes covering Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Skilled in supporting Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity operations.
• Basic experience in vendor interaction and managing support cases.
• Preferable knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise infrastructure tools.
• Comfortable operating in production support environments governed by strict SLAs and KPIs.
