Position Summary
The Inbound Logistics Coordinator, reporting to the Supervisor of Procurement and Transportation, plays a vital role in managing inbound shipments including raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Oversee and track inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and smooth receiving processes.
- Generate and manage purchase orders through Business Central software, maintaining accuracy and clear communication with suppliers.
- Monitor open purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to resolve shipment delays and issues.
- Keep precise records of purchase orders, receipts, inventory movements, and receiving inconsistencies.
- Examine Bills of Lading and related receiving documents to verify accuracy of shipments.
- Confirm receipt logs against actual goods and investigate discrepancies as necessary.
- Maintain and update local and import logs, checklists, and shipment tracking systems.
- Track domestic and international shipments, providing regular updates on potential delays and risks.
- Assist in customs clearance documentation and help process payments for imported goods.
- Coordinate delivery scheduling with suppliers and warehouse teams to align with receiving capacity and production needs.
- Support onboarding procedures for new suppliers, including documentation and system setup.
- Identify and escalate issues related to quality, receiving, or inventory and support supplier claim resolution.
- Contribute to supplier performance monitoring, including scorecard preparation and reviews.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent transaction processing and reconciliations.
- Proactively pinpoint inbound material risks and assist in mitigation strategies to prevent production disruptions.
Collaboration and Communication
- Effectively communicate potential supply risks, material shortages, and delivery challenges to key internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Procurement, Planning, Quality, and Warehouse departments to guarantee material availability and transparent inventory information.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing inbound logistics, supplier relations, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years professional experience in material planning, inventory control, purchasing, or related fields.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills considered advantageous.
- Strong expertise in ERP systems; familiarity with MS Power BI is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is beneficial.

Education Requirements
