Job description
Role Overview
The ICQA Researcher will be responsible for conducting detailed and high-quality investigations into all inventory adjustments and transactions. This role works in close collaboration with the operations team, providing crucial data support for improvement projects and root cause analysis of operational defects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, lead by example in key performance areas including safety and quality, and develop deep knowledge of operational processes at their assigned facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop data collection techniques and data management protocols.
- Ensure data integrity with a target of zero errors.
- Design and execute queries, compile datasets, and create reports using MS Access and Excel.
- Create charts and graphs to represent data clearly for reporting.
- Conduct thorough research into trends involving defects.
- Perform data gathering and data entry tasks as required.
- Apply data mining techniques and problem-solving skills to address issues.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
Preferred Experience
- Over two years’ experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- At least one year in data analytics or automation roles.
- Proven experience in process improvement and structuring to meet objectives.
- Active professional presence on the floor with a self-driven learning approach.
