Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager will work full-time onsite at the Abu Dhabi head office, responsible for the entire human resources function for a multinational workforce. This involves workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, overseeing performance management, and fostering positive employee relations. The role demands developing and applying HR policies, managing remuneration and benefits, leading employee training programs, and ensuring adherence to UAE labor laws and corporate protocols.
The HR Manager provides support and guidance to line managers, handles disciplinary and grievance procedures, maintains meticulous HR records, and drives initiatives to boost employee engagement and retention. Collaboration with senior management is key to aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives in sectors including oil, gas, energy, and manpower supply.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven expertise in handling both strategic and operational HR roles effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM are advantageous.
- A minimum of eight years progressive HR experience, preferably within a multi-entity/group corporate structure spanning multiple business domains.
- Experience in manpower outsourcing, recruitment, staffing operations, and workforce deployment with client coordination capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE Labour Law, visa and immigration processes, and Emiratization mandates.
- Proficient in payroll processing and WPS compliance, collaborating with finance for salary administration.
- Skilled in managing employee benefits including insurance administration, claim processing and employee assistance.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and launching HR policies, procedures, and enterprise-wide people strategies.
- Strong leadership experience in managing and mentoring HR teams.
- Familiarity with performance management systems, including KPI and KRA development and appraisal monitoring.
- Capability in overseeing employee relations matters such as grievances, investigations, and disciplinary procedures.
- Good analytical skills to translate workforce data into actionable management reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing priorities across multiple companies simultaneously.
