Role Overview
This Human Resources Manager position is a part-time role based at our Lexington County, SC office. The role involves managing day-to-day HR operations such as employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance at federal, state, and local levels. Key tasks include overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, aiding workforce planning, and partnering with leadership to craft HR policies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. The HR Manager will advise managers on best HR practices, manage confidential personnel matters, coordinate employee training and development efforts, maintain HR records and reports, and champion a positive, inclusive workplace culture with activities designed to boost engagement and drive HR process enhancements.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in essential HR functions including employee relations, performance oversight, and compliance adherence.
- Competency in talent acquisition and onboarding covering job description preparation, conducting interviews, and orienting new hires.
- Capable of managing HR documentation, policies, and procedures with meticulous organizational skills.
- Familiarity with HR software systems and basic data analytics for reporting HR metrics.
- Excellent communication abilities combined with conflict resolution and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting employee training, personal development, and engagement programs that nurture a constructive work environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines; HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR considered advantageous.
- Prior experience in HR management or as a senior HR generalist, preferably within a fast-moving, service-centric setting.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality, apply prudent judgment, and adapt effectively amidst organizational changes.
