In the AMZL (Amazon Logistics) PXT team, the HR Partner will ensure smooth execution of HR operations through standardized processes, relationship management, and prompt resolution of employee concerns. With a strong onsite presence, you will promote team culture, drive engagement efforts, and coach leadership on HR best practices. This role prioritizes delivering positive employee experiences, navigating complex issues with sound judgment, and exercising influence without authoritative power. You will also leverage data and HR technology solutions to continuously improve the work environment, building foundational HR expertise for your career growth.

Work will be conducted onsite at an Amazon facility in Camarillo, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a positive employee environment by implementing core programs, ensuring adherence to workplace standards, and collaborating with PXT and Operations teams to cultivate a culture where employees feel recognized, heard, and supported.
• Deliver consistent, timely execution of standardized HR duties, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining accurate process documentation and records of employee interactions.
• Serve as a frontline resource for employees by answering questions, addressing grievances sensitively and effectively, and escalating issues appropriately while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist in managing feedback mechanisms—such as roundtables, floor walks, and engagement initiatives—to monitor issues, track progress, and work with senior PXT staff to improve employee experiences.
• Coach frontline leaders on behaviors affecting employee engagement and retention, helping them utilize tools for enhanced team communication, recognition, and performance discussions.
• Support site-level initiatives around engagement, communication, and culture building by organizing logistics, collecting feedback, and tracking results.
• Build skills in analyzing PXT-related data, including attrition, attendance, hiring, and employee sentiment, to prepare insights for site reviews and discussions.
• Champion self-service tools for employees and managers to resolve routine queries, while identifying trends and opportunities to improve tool access and utilization.

About the Team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) partners with independent delivery service providers and contractors (Amazon Flex) to deliver customer orders reliably and efficiently. Delivery Stations utilize continuous improvement and innovation to ensure millions of packages reach customers on time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience as a human resource business partner or combined operations and HR roles.
• Background working in environments such as call centers, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities.
• Experience supporting hourly employee populations.
• Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive HR information responsibly.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to perform basic document creation, spreadsheet handling, and calendar/email management.
• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences, including explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing technical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• Experience with companies employing 250-500+ associates in HR capacities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Payroll Systems, and HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual base salary ranging from 70,400 to 89,800 USD, supplemented by sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
